What is Cura?
Cura turns a promise into a contract with a real stake, so you actually follow through. Set the goal, put something on the line, and either hold yourself to it or bring a friend to hold the other end.
What's a contract?
A promise with a real stake attached. Keep it and you did the thing; break it and the stake is real. Make it joint — a friend holds the other end — or solo, just you and the line you drew.
How's this different from a habit tracker or to-do app?
Trackers remind you; they don't cost you anything when you skip. Cura puts something real on the line, so quietly quitting actually costs you. That's the difference between meaning to and doing.
Do I need a friend, or can I go solo?
You don't need one — but Cura's better shared. Bring a friend to sign it and hold the other end, or fly solo with a stake only you feel. Both work.

What can I put on the line?
Something you'd actually feel — money, a forfeit, a consequence you'd rather avoid. You set the stake; it just has to be real enough to make you show up.
Does the stake have to be money?
No. A stake can be money or a personal forfeit — whatever would genuinely get you off the couch. The point isn't the amount, it's that it's real.
What happens if I break a contract?
The stake you agreed to kicks in. Keep it and you're clear; break it and the consequence is real — that's what makes the promise stick.
How does a friend hold me accountable?
They sign the contract too, see your progress, and the stake sits on the line between you. A promise you keep to yourself is easy to quietly drop; one a friend can see, you keep.
